Job Vacancy: Full-Time Geography Teacher

Colne, Lancashire

Full-time, fixed term contract

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team with Teaching Personnel, working with a reputable mainstream secondary school located in Colne. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students from September onwards on a 12-month contract.

Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students. You will utilize your expertise to foster a deep understanding of geographical concepts, encouraging critical thinking and analytical skills. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the development of the geography curriculum, as well as participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.

Specialisation in Geography or relevant subject area.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and enhancement of teaching practices.
